Our Mission
Why we laugh together
Jokes for Hope is an evening of stand-up that turns a great night out into real community impact. Net proceeds are shared equally between the two host chapters to power their year-round service in Chicago.
Omega Psi Phi (Chi Lambda Lambda) and the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta bring decades of scholarship, mentorship, and neighborhood uplift to the city. One ticket fuels both.

in winter coats for Chicago kids
Proceeds from the 2025 comedy show helped Omega Psi Phi’s Chi Lambda Lambda Chapter provide over $2,000 in warm coats for Chicago children. Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter also donated a portion of its proceeds to the March of Dimes. One night of comedy made both possible, and this year we’re going bigger.

Every dollar goes straight to the two chapters' community programs — last year that meant winter coats for Chicago kids from Chi Lambda Lambda and a gift to the March of Dimes from CMAC. Give what you can, and we'll email you a receipt.
Both host chapters are 501(c)(7) organizations, so donations are not tax-deductible.

How are the proceeds used?
Net proceeds are split equally between the two host chapters — Omega Psi Phi (Chi Lambda Lambda) and the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta — to support their community programming.
Why is there a processing fee at checkout?
Tickets are sold through Stripe, which charges a small card-processing fee on every payment. Rather than taking that out of the show's proceeds, we show the fee as its own line and add it to your total at checkout — so 100% of the ticket price goes to the two host chapters.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable — feel free to pass them along to a friend if your plans change.
